The People Behind the Change
At Community Development Centre (CDC), we believe meaningful change begins with people who listen, care, collaborate, and act. Our team brings together leaders, development practitioners, community mobilisers, and dedicated professionals working alongside communities to build peace, strengthen livelihoods, and create opportunities for lasting change.
From our leadership to our field teams, we share a commitment to community-led development, local ownership, inclusion, and the belief that every community has the potential to shape its own future.
We are more than a team implementing projects. We are people working with people, building relationships, connecting ideas, and turning shared aspirations into action.
People are at the heart of everything we do.
Our Team
Our team works across programme development, peacebuilding, community engagement, livelihoods, youth empowerment, communications, finance, and organisational support. Together, we translate our mission into practical action, working closely with community members, local leaders, partners, and other stakeholders.
Whether facilitating dialogue, supporting farmers and young entrepreneurs, sharing vital information, or strengthening community initiatives, our people bring dedication, creativity, and local understanding to the work we do.

Rooted in the Communities We Serve
Our people are not separated from the communities we work with. We value local knowledge, lived experience, and the leadership that already exists within communities.
We work alongside refugees, returnees, internally displaced people, host communities, young people, farmers, women, and local leaders, recognising that sustainable development is strongest when people participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives.
Our community partners and local networks are an essential part of how we listen, learn, build trust, and turn shared priorities into action.

How We Show Up
Community first
We listen to people and respect their knowledge, priorities, and aspirations.
Integrity and accountability

Inclusion and dignity
We value diversity and work to create opportunities for people to participate, contribute, and thrive.
Collaboration and solidarity
We believe lasting change is built through relationships, partnerships, and collective action.
Learning and innovation
We remain open to new ideas, local solutions, and better ways of serving communities.
