CDC trained women as community educators in five locations. These women now help run sexual and reproductive health education classes for other women, and workshops for groups in the Ofua and Siripi Zones of Rhino Camp. Classes are arranged by gender and age group.
The project provides sexual and reproductive health information, helps prevent SRH issues, and empowers women and members of the community to make informed, personal decisions about their bodies and their futures, and to protect themselves from infections and diseases.
