Interns’ Farewell Party

A number of this year’s interns are leaving the Centre. They were wonderful, we had a great time with them, and we appreciate all of the hard work and the bricks they contributed to “Building Strong and Resilient Communities”.

Over the course of 10 weeks the interns gained real-world work experience and caught our passion for communities, working closely with their supervisors, attending departmental meetings, and creating their own projects, including contributing great ideas to our work. The Centre gave them the opportunity to experience work from concept to production, as well as problem-solving and crisis management, and to share their knowledge in community development work.

We held this farewell to honour and thank them. Saying farewell is always bittersweet, and we are missing them already. Friends, we hope you have gained experience you will use for years to come. Best wishes as you return to school and pursue your goals.
